Pac20 Frequently Asked Questions

Below are some answers to questions you may have about PAC20.

How do I register for PAC20?

Online registrations for PAC20 are coming, will be a single-step process, and you will immediately be presented with your camper number.

A downloadable Registration Form is also available for those having difficulty with online registration, or those wanting to register before online registration is available.

How do I get my captain to approve my PAC2020 registration?

Tell your captain you are planning to go to PAC2020 and confirm that he will approve your registration! To smooth the registration process, we will assume that your captain will approve your registration.  He will be contacted by the Camp organisers after you have completed registration.

How much will it cost me to go to PAC2020?

Camp fees are $998 (early bird rate).

These costs include all accommodation, food, local travel, some tours, most of the activities, two camp shirts and cap. There are some additional costs however relating to your choice of electives, canteen money, extra shirts or caps and the cost of travelling to and from camp.

When and how do I choose my electives?

Don’t worry, we will give you all the Elective information closer to camp.

The nomination process for electives is now open.  See the next item.

How do I nominate my electives?

You can nominate your preferences using the following Google form –

To complete the Google form, all you need to do is enter the email address that you registered as a camper with, your full name and your camper number. After that, simply rank your top 6 choices across the 18 available electives and press submit (that is, use the scroll bar to move across the page to see more than the first 8). A copy of your choices will be sent to your email address and the committee will record your choices.

If you have not yet paid your deposit, your choices will still be accepted on the Google form. However, when the committee begins to compile everyone’s options, your response may be processed after those campers who have paid their non-refundable deposit. If you wish to pay your deposit, instructions can be found in the current newsletter.

I want to talk to someone more about PAC2020. Who do I contact?

Keep a lookout for your latest PAC Newsletters for all the latest on PAC2020!
If you need more, talk firstly with Your Company Captain about your PAC2020 questions.
If he can’t help then contact your Pan Australian Camp State Liaison Officer.

How do I get to camp?

Just like the movie… Planes, trains and automobiles (and busses or bicycles)

If arriving by plane, how do I get to the camp location?

We’re working with the PAC2020 Transport Team to have some shuttle bus services from the airport. You’ll be able to book these (and pay for the service) along with your camp fees online. More information about timing and costing will be available closer to camp.

Is there going to be a β€˜Theme Park” day?

Yes!! Which theme park is yet to be finalised but be sure it’ll be an exciting day out!

What is the minimum age for camp?

If you turn 12 during 2020 then you’re good to go!

Should I have to cancel my PAC2020, how will this happen and how will it affect me?

Should you have to cancel your PAC2020 adventure, the Camp Organisers will review your situation and make a decision about where to go from there. There may be a non refundable component of your camp fees (due to deposits being paid etc) but we’ll work together with you on making this process as easy as possible.

What style of accommodation is available?

Accomodation will be Cabins. (A tent option may be available depending on the number of campers who register.)
